A flight between Toronto and Ottawa, scheduled for Dec. 19, could be delayed due to weather.
A flight from Montreal to Vancouver could also be delayed.
And the next flight from Toronto to Vancouver, scheduled Dec. 21, could not land until Jan. 10 due to an ice storm, according to FlightRadar24.com.
The Canadian Airports Commission is notifying airline customers to check their flight schedules.
The commission is also advising passengers to check with their airlines.
The weather is expected to be much warmer in the next 24 hours, according the agency.
The cold front is forecast to move inland and will be a factor in a large portion of the eastern seaboard, said Chris O’Neill, a spokesman for the Canadian Meteorological Centre.
O’Neill said a large part of the region will be covered by ice and snow on Dec. 17.
There will also be a chance of freezing rain in some areas.
