The 23-year-old, who joined the Sky Blues at the start of the season as an understudy to Daniel Talbot, has been part of a group of young players, such as Josh Brillante, who have impressed in pre-season.
The former Newcastle youth product also spent time with the Blues’ Under 21 squad in 2017, before being selected for the PFA Young Player of the Year and the England Under 21s squad.
Kieren’s first season with Sky Blues came to an end in mid-November, with the player’s contract expiring at the end of the 2017-18 season.
It was the last year for the Dutch international to represent Holland at the World Cup.

“I’m looking forward to this season.
It’s a really big challenge for me, so I’m really excited.
It’s a good opportunity for me and I’m looking forwards to it.
The first game is against Sunderland and I can’t wait.
I think it’s going to be a great atmosphere and the fans will be happy for me.”
