Lockheed Martin is set to begin commercial drone sales to the military, the company announced Monday.
The new drone, dubbed the Lockheed C-130J Hercules, will be sold to the U.S. Army and will allow the company to help support the growing military drone market.
The drone is capable of flying as high as 400 feet and is capable to carry up to seven people.
The C-132J is currently in the process of being manufactured, and it will be released to the public in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Lockheed Martin also announced it is also working with Boeing and Airbus to launch a small drone for the Air Force and the Navy.
The company has already partnered with Boeing to deliver four C-5A Globemasters to the Marines for use in the field.
Lockheed also plans to sell two more C-131J Hercules drones to the Army.
The company is also launching a small military drone to the Air Forces in the coming months.
